Unit 1 - Communication and Employability in IT

Unit 1

In unit 1 we have been studying Communication and employability in IT. Under this heading we have completed many tasks, including:

1. Swot Analysis
2. Communication ( Barriers and Types )
3. Electronic Communication 
4. Attributes, Skills and Attitudes  

SWOT Analysis is when you look at the strengths, weaknesses, opportunity's and  threats about yourself. This is useful for when you need to analyse a candidate for a job or interview as it goes into a lot of detail. 

For communication we looked at all types and then found some barriers of communication and the ways to overcome these, then they were put into a table.

Gearing up for Play Expo 2014

So this year I have decided to go to PlayExpo, for those of you that don't know what it is it is a huge gaming event in London. They have all the big companies their promoting their products. Such as Sony, Microsoft, Rockstar and also whoever turn it is to ruin Call of Duty. Play expo is enjoyed by thousands every year, including some famous faces.

Project Christine

So I've just started hearing about a new PC idea. "Project Christine" was released by razed at CES this year and it looks amazing!

It is FULLY MODULAR, yep that's right. A fully modular PC. This means it will be silent, efficiently cooled (Water cooled) and look amazing. Pricing and availability has not yet been release, however I'm looking forward to reporting on it further!
